Breed diseases that you should know before raising them

Care guidelines: It is considered a veterinary emergency. Typically, a slipped lens must be surgically removed to prevent permanent vision loss and glaucoma.
It is a congenital heart disease found in Jack Russell Terriers. It is caused by an abnormal narrowing of the heart valve between the right chamber of the heart and the pulmonary artery. This causes the heart to work harder to pump blood to the lungs.
Care guidelines: In minor cases, symptoms may only be monitored. In cases of moderate to severe stenosis, it is generally treated with medication or a procedure to expand the heart valve with a balloon through a catheter.
